Throughout his career, Mr. Altbach pioneered novel approaches to business operations, frequently among the first to identify new opportunities arising from emerging technologies and economic changes. From 1998 to 2003, Mr. Altbach served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Cross Media Marketing Corporation, an American Stock Exchange-listed direct marketing company that led the development of modern technology-driven direct marketing approaches. Mr. Altbach’s deep background in corporate reorganization and development led to his position, from 1995 through 1998, as Vice Chairman of Rosecliff, Inc., a prominent New York-based merchant bank principally engaged in direct investments.
